What to build

Refactoring financial calculation logic into pure stateless components.

Acceptance criteria

  • Separate service classes for amortization, mortgage scheduling, and tax reports.
  • Business logic is completely decoupled from database repositories and Spring controllers.
  • Unit tests verify calculations with 100% boundary scenarios.
  • Minimum 80% overall test coverage maintained.
