# Localization and Naming Strategy

The application target market is French real estate landlords under the LMNP (Location Meublée Non Professionnelle) tax regime. Therefore, the User Interface (Angular) will be in French. To adhere to standard engineering best practices, all source code (variables, class names, method names, comments) and backend API structures will be written in English. We have established a direct mapping between French domain concepts and English code terms in the `CONTEXT.md` glossary (e.g., `Bail` is coded as `Lease`, `Exercice fiscal` as `FiscalYear`).
